Triangle Fraternity is an organization for young men pursuing degrees in engineering, architecture, and science. But Triangle Fraternity is much more than a club. A Brotherhood

Forming unbreakable bonds with other men is something that all great men strive for and something that Triangle Fraternity can provide to its brothers. Triangle Fraternity is a strong group of men that value the respect of one another and those around them. Together, we are an unbreakable force, both through college and beyond into our different fields of practice. College is a time to meet lifelong friends and Triangle is a place full of great men that will be trustworthy companions to you throughout your life.

A Social Atmosphere

At Triangle, we believe that having fun is just as important as succeeding in school. Because of this, we enjoy having lots of social events including poker nights, weekend retreats, brotherhood meals, intramural sports, and much more. Triangle also has socials with other sororities on campus throughout the year and enjoys participating in their philanthropies as well, which is a lot of fun!

Making A difference

An Investment

Triangle, like any fraternity, requires that its members pay dues. We believe that your dues are an investment into your future. At Triangle, you will learn to work as a team and become a leader. In addition, many alumni from Triangle hold prominent positions in the engineering, science, and architecture industries and are a connection for jobs after college. Lastly, if coming up with the money to join is an issue for you, brothers of Triangle have the opportunity to earn Triangle scholarships.

Professional development

While we strive to have a good time, we also want to make sure that we accomplish what we have come to college to do; to get a degree and advance to a job or graduate school. We realize this and strive to promote professional development so that none of our brothers graduates without a job or a plan for their future. To accomplish this, we have professional development events throughout the semester where speakers come and present on different topics. These presentations are given by Virginia Tech faculty as well as men and women in different science, engineering, and architecture industries.

Scholastic

As college students at Virginia Tech we have all been blessed with the great opportunity of earning an education at a wonderful school. It's only fitting that we should give back to the community and bless those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Triangle participates in philanthropic events of other organizations on campus, helping to raise money for their cause. In addition, Triangle participates in service events throughout the Blacksburg community including trash cleanups, tutoring, and Micah's Backpack to name a few. 

When it comes down to it, college is an opportunity to get a great education that will propel you forward in your career. At Triangle, we believe that academics are important and take them very seriously. Triangle holds weekly study hall hours that members are able to attend where they can work on assignments and collaborate with other brothers if they need assistance. Since we are all in similar majors, most likely there is an older brother who has already taken the class that you are in and can help tutor you should you need the help. Triangle is also sponsored by Studypool, an online marketplace that connects students with questions with tutors who can answer them.
